Observation and Reflection from a Typhoon

For students ,when typhoon was hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory we'll become very excited cos which give us a hope of a day off from school .However in 24th July ,typhoon signal no.10 was hoisted ,which bring us great damage .I still remember that night I was hearing the radio and there was a call from a audience , she told the DJ that her husband was 60th birthday on that day however he still haven't back home because of the typhoon and needed to stay overnight at MTR station she also complain that the MTR Corporation arranged improperly .
Besides ,some scaffoldings were blew down ,fallen trees and the plastic pellets in Shek Pai Wan we can see how the typhoon damaged our environment .About the plastic pellets ,there was total 150 tons of plastic pellets spread the south of Hong Kong waters and beaches ,which may harm  fishes and personal health .Although the scaffoldings and fallen trees we cannot help ,there're many people who choose to help to clean up those plastic pellets ,their action remind us protect the environment is everyone's responsibility.
Aside from the reflection from Typhoon Vincente ,I'd like to glorify the reporter ,Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 10 is not joking ,however they still standed at the street and report the newest news to us ,I do honor the reporters.

Cooking,Food and Love

I like eating very much, when I go out with my friends, what I concern about is not where we going, is what food we'll eat.
Although I like eating food, I don't know how to cook, I think cooking is quite difficult, I tried to learn cooking before, in my home, my father is the chef, when he was cooking, I'd go to the kitchen, ask him some questions about the food which he was cooking such as how many seasoning should put, I think this part is the most difficult part of cooking, we have to measure the seasoning by ourself, if we put too much or too less, the food will become awful.
I've tried once to cook a dessert with my friends, the circumstances I can use one word to explain ─ disorderly. The whole process were disorderly, however I was quite enjoy. When we're cooking, we're playing most of the time, but we've together accomplish a dessert and the taste was quite good! Although the cooking process is difficult and hard, when I see the finished products, I'd feel satisfied.
Besides, I'm very admire my father, because his cooking is really good and delicious, what he cooked for us are just very simple such as meat, vegetable, Steam Scramble Egg etc, my mother and I do agree those are tasty. Actually, cooking need to stay in a hot area for a long time, that's toilsome so if I have free time, I'll help my father.In addition, I'll learn more about cooking and try to cook some delicious food to my parents!

My Learning Experience - Joy and Challenges

The results of 2012 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary School Education Examination have been released on 20 July, I have to face that next year and I feel very nervous.When I just became a s5 student,my parents always told me that I didn't have much time anymore I have to started thinking what I want to do after DSE,at that time,I didn't think about that seriously coz I think I still have much time but now I'm really afraid.I'm confused with my future,fotunately,on my academic career I met a load of friends and teachers they always help me slove my problems and teach me lots of things especially my friends since I think I'm a annoyed person I always need their help.Although I always feel pressured with a lot of thing, they can still made me relax, thank you all of my friends.
Now my achievement is not good enough to face DSE next year so I must work harder than before, for me,I think all subjects are difficult but I'll try to overcome besides I'll do more exercise, I do believe 'practice makes perfect', I won't force myself to become a distinction student and get outstanding result but I'll do my best to manage DSE.If I work hard now, my future life will be more comfortable.I must not be lazy anymore,I know my result is bad is because I do not study hard enough I shouldn't blame on other things,what I have to blame is myself.
'No pain no gain', I do hope all of us can get good result next year let's work hard
together also this is our last year,we should make more happy memories and enjoy our time!

My First Encounter with African Culture - Music and Dance

    In 27th June,2012, all s5 students were having an activity which is about African’s music and dance. At first, I was uninterested since I’ve no idea what the activity would do I just felt very tired. However, I became enjoy participating in the activity. When we back school, we had a seat at the covered playground I thought many classmates were same with me, felt tired and sleepy, however when we noticed that a Negro who was going to be our teacher we became excited! We all focused on what he said and we followed the instructions which he gave us. I could totally felt his enthusiasm which was genuinely. He taught us some dance and songs which from African, we also played drum, which’s my first time to play drum that’s really fun! When we all played the drum trimly, the atmosphere was extremely great that’s not a few words can explain I could feel all of us were enjoy it, that’s awesome! Besides, some of our classmates, teachers also our principal were invited to perform dancing! I really admired who performed dancing in front of us, because facing so many people who need to have courage if I was invited , I don’t think I have enough courage to perform.

    This experience let me know more about African’s music and dance also the most important thing is that we should learn from the Negro teacher, although he didn’t say anything, we can feel his happiness and enthusiasm ,he always  smile and laugh, which completely infect everybody. We should always keep the mindset just like the teacher and enjoy our life.
